Good food requires good wine and we source our wines with the same care as we source our food. We have built a very good relationship with our suppliers, all of whom are independent, often small and specialist wine merchants.
Our comprehensive list of wines covers all of the great wine producing areas, varieties, prices and styles with a special selection available by the glass.A great deal of time has been spent in assembling, tasting and buying wines to add to our cellar.
As well as a large selection of old-world classics from Burgundy and Bordeaux there are extensive selections from new-world producers such as Australia, Chile, New Zealand and the USA. To complement our wine list we stock an extensive range of Fine Malt Whiskies, Cognacs and liqueurs to accompany your coffee.
The quality, range and value of our list has been recognised by the AA, who named it 'Notable Wine List' and choose it as a finalist for it's well known AA Wine Award. We have received a Chairman’s Award in the prestigious Roederer/Imbibe and have been named ’Wine List of the Month’ by Neville Blech, Editor of the influential ’Wine behind the Label’ website.
We have occasional special themed wine or spirit menus such as a recent one led by Richard Bouglet from L'Art du Vin in Dunfermline, who showcased his wealth of knowledge to 63 Tay Street as he introduced the wines brilliantly from a background of many years in the wine industry.
